Add some fun to your garden with our beautiful personalized wooden monkey swing! These handmade wooden monkey swings are constructed right here in our Surrey Hills workshop, to order, by hand, and make perfect gifts for children.
As with everything we do here at Make Me Something Special, we have spent the time researching and sourcing the perfect materials available to ensure the swing is both beautiful to look at and strong for it’s use. Each of these oak swings is handmade from one piece of Air Dried Prime A Grade English Oak. This timber is perfectly seasoned and adjusted for outdoor conditions. The swings are then finished by hand with Liberon Superior Danish oil which, apart from being very hard wearing, water, heat and alcohol resistant; it also has a UV filter so your swing will keep its golden color for much longer. However, you can also choose to have your wooden swing seats finished in our new Diamond-Coating for maximum protection.
All of these personalized monkey swings come with a 5 metre drop of synthetic hemp rope. This is a strong marine quality rope that is mellow in color, soft to touch, and being synthetic, it won’t swell, shrink or rot unlike natural rope. Longer lengths of rope are available if required. Just let us know how much you need!
All swings come ready to hang. Just tie your oak swing directly from a tree branch or we can supply marine quality fittings, ideal for adjustment without having to climb the tree. They can also be hung from frames, porches and other such like. Another great use for a swing of this size and shape is on a zip-line.
Personalization: These wooden monkey swings are available blank, with standard engraving or can be personalized with your choice of words or lettering, using up to 15 characters per side. You can also add carved hearts, stars and other engraved motifs. Take a look at the options available to you Engraving options.
We can even engrave a secret or personal message for you on the underside of your wooden swing seat, making it that little bit extra special. Anything from childrens names, a classic childrens nursery rhyme or story book quote, something witty, or just something secret you dont want anyone else to see but you know its there.

I would just like to share some photos with you of the beautiful monkey swing that I ordered from you. We have hung the swing from an oak beam in our conservatory for our grandchildren Cameron & Maia. They are creating great lasting memories & enjoying the swing.
